What this static guide stores and which external services it uses.
Local preferences
This static site does not ask you to register or submit a player profile. A manually selected language is stored in your browser as hww-language. You can remove it with your browser's site-data controls. Search runs locally against the text already loaded on the page; your search query is not sent to an analytics service by this site.
Region selection
On the unlocalized homepage, the site may request /cdn-cgi/trace from its own host to obtain a country code when hosted behind Cloudflare. It uses that code to select a supported language. It does not ask for precise GPS location or save the returned IP address. If the request is unavailable or the country is unsupported, English is used.
The hosting provider necessarily handles network requests and may keep operational logs under its own policies. A selected language takes precedence over automatic country selection; direct links to a language never redirect.
External links and services
Links to Steam, YouTube and official game sites open those providers' pages. No YouTube iframe is loaded automatically. Their privacy policies apply when you follow a link.
No advertising script, analytics tracker or third-party cookie banner is installed in this edition. Advertising would require a separate configured integration and an updated notice before activation.
